Polyurethane film dressing
Askina® Derm® is a sterile transparent polyurethane film dressing. It is semipermeable and suitable for the protection of newly formed skin. It also prevents the formation of scabs.

Indication
Protection of non exuding wounds such as stage I pressure ulcers, donor sites, minor abrasions, 1st degree burns, surgical wounds and lacerations.

Hydrophilic foam dressings
Askina® Foam is a two layered non-adherent dressings made from:
✓ A soft breathable hydrophilic polyurethane foam layer and has a high fluid capacity (199g / 100 cm²)
✓ A thin , transparent and protective polyurethane film, which is waiter proof and bacteria resistant

Indication
Moderate to heavy exuding wounds:
✓ Stage I-IV pressure ulcers
✓ Venous and arterial leg ulcers
✓ Diabetic foot ulcers
✓ 1st and 2nd degree burns
✓ Traumatic wounds

Contraindication
Askina® Foam is contraindicated for:
✓ Ulcers resulting from infections, such as tuberculosis, syphilis, deep fungal infections
✓ Bites or third degree burns

In case of infections with inflammatory signs (temperature, oedema, redness, pain) contact proper medical authority. Resume the use of Askina® Foam when normal healing conditions have returned.
